justice<\/strong>.\u00a0Social justice, which is linked to the common good and the exercise of authority, <strong>results when \u201cassociations or individuals\u2026obtain what is their due, according to their nature and their vocation.\u201d <\/strong><a class=\"alternate-link\" style=\"color: #054368;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vatican.va\/archive\/ENG0015\/__P6N.HTM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>(Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1928)<\/em><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #054368;\">This\u00a0correct understanding of social justice\u00a0was made clear by Pope Francis when he observed: \u201cthe duty of social justice... requires the realignment of relationships between stronger and weaker peoples in terms of greater fairness\u201d;\u00a0<a Catholic social teaching <strong>is the confusion caused by diocesan, parish and university student programs and projects labeled \u2018social justice\u2019<\/strong> -- but which are often endeavors
